The hostel Stara sola (or Old School) is located in a small Istrian village of Korte, just a few km from Izola and Portoroz. The building of the hostel was completely renovated before opening in November 2006 to supply the needs of every tourist. The area surrounding the hostel is ideal for those looking for cycling and walking paths.

As well as breakfast, soft drinks are sold in the hostel as well. Two restaurants are located close to the hostel (200 metres), they offer a variety of local dishes for every taste and budget. Breakfast is available only in high season from July 1 to August 31.
Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 3.00 per person.
